FAQs

What Is Mail Pylon?

Mail Pylon is an email infrastructure service that gives you private SMTP servers with dedicated IPs, built specifically for cold email outreach. Instead of relying on Gmail or Outlook accounts with strict limits and shared IPs, Mail Pylon provides you with your own isolated server environment, where you can connect your domains, create unlimited mailboxes, and send email campaigns through popular tools like Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison, etc.

There is no hard limit on the number of domains you can connect to a server. The real factor you need to take care of is the sending volume tied to your dedicated IP’s reputation.

With a dedicated IP and proper warmup, you can scale to tens of thousands of emails daily. For best results, we recommend keeping each server at around 100,000–150,000 emails per month. You can add as many domains/mailboxes as you want to help spread out the volume.

Just like a new domain, a new IP needs to be warmed up gradually. Sending too much too soon risks hurting deliverability. We’ll guide you on safe sending limits to build IP reputation and protect deliverability.

You have two options:

  • Manual Setup: We provide the necessary DNS records (SPF, DKIM, DMARC, MX) and you add them on your domain registrar.
  • One-Click Setup: Simply point your domains’ nameservers to our Cloudflare, and our system will handle the configuration automatically.

Provisioning your private SMTP with a dedicated IP and isolated resources takes about 24–48 hours. Once your server is provisioned, you will get access to the server where you can connect your domains and create mailboxes.

Mail Pylon integrates seamlessly with tools like Smartlead, Instantly, EmailBison, Pipl/PlusVibe, ReachInbox, Lemlist, Apollo, Woodpecker, and any other platform that supports SMTP/IMAP.

Our servers are hosted in premium data centers across the USA and Europe, ensuring good IP reputation, reliable performance, and compliance with regional standards.

With Gmail and Outlook, you’re paying per inbox. On top of that, those inboxes come with strict daily sending limits. With Mail Pylon, you get your own dedicated IP, so your cost is based on the server; not the number of inboxes. You can create as many mailboxes as you want across your domains — giving you much more flexibility and scale for a lower price.

Those platforms are designed for transactional or marketing emails, not cold outreach. They have strict compliance rules, limit cold email activity, and can suspend accounts without warning. Mail Pylon is built specifically for cold email agencies — with dedicated IPs, no shared reputation, and flexibility to scale safely.

While we provide the infrastructure, it’s your responsibility to comply with outreach regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, etc.). We give you the tools for healthy sending, but we encourage all users to run responsible and compliant campaigns.
